Mark

I am an experience designer, researcher, and strategist with a decade of experience focusing on sustainable behavior change. Seeking first to understand the needs of people and the planet, I help clients navigate towards systemic and sustainable growth through evidence-based design.

In my work to date from Copenhagen to Philadelphia, Montréal, New York, Chicago, and now San Francisco, I have grown a web of experiences improving the desirability, safety, and/or sustainability outcomes of product/service offerings. From leading a project team to receive a Fast Company Innovation by Design award for redesigning the City of Chicago’s street management system to painting streets at 2 a.m. in Mumbai to implement a pedestrian-safety project, I have proven a consistent bias for action towards developing and meeting impact targets.

I am a graduate of the IIT Institute of Design, where I leveled up my methods-based expertise in user experience research and systems thinking in order to design both more holistically and incisively in an increasingly complex landscape. I've earned a certificate in Sustainable Enterprise Management from the IIT Stuart School of Business and a B.A. from Villanova University in Urban & Anthropological Studies.

On weekends you can find me empowering my friends to sew their own clothes or enjoying the many great parks of San Francisco.

I would love to get to know you! Reach out & let’s find a time to meet.
